W. G. Nowak, 89, of Whiting, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2009. Mr. Nowak was born in Brooklyn, NY and lived in Verona, NJ before moving to Whiting in 1994. He was an Electrical Engineer with I.B.E.W., Local 400 in Wall Twp. for 60 years. He was a member of the Elks of Lacey Twp. and a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary in 2004 and his son, William in 2006. He is survived by one daughter-in-law, Carol; a brother, Victor; a sister, Eleanor Moravec; two grandchildren, Bill and Matthew Nowak and four great-grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be offered Monday, March 9, at 11 a.m. in the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Arrangements are under the direction of Aaron Cremation Associates, Inc., Whiting.
