William L. Arbogast, 85, of Whiting, passed away Monday, March 26, 2012. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on October 26, 1926. William was a World War II veteran who served in the U.S. Navy for 20 years. While in the Navy, he met his wife, Waltraud.. After retiring from the Navy, he continued his career with New Jersey Transit for 26 years. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Waltraud; three children; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held from 1 to 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 18th at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. Inurnment will follow at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
